TIMES MALAYSIA, JAKARTAEid al-Fitr, or the celebration of the end of fasting is coming. During these days, Indonesian will serve some festive cookies or treats on their living room for guests. As in the dining room, they will have lots of festive food to enjoy.

So, what about the cookies? What kind of cookies does usually the Indonesian have on their table? We will list you the best 5 which usually served in every house in the country. Check them out.

1. Nastar

This pineapple cookies seems like becoming the most favorite cookies to be served on the table during Eid al-Fitr.  Either they made it themselves or bought it from a bakery you will see in almost everyone's house.

These cookies were said to be originally came from Holland. It's a dough stuffed with pineapple jam. The jam gives exotic taste to the sweet and tasty dough. No wonder people will add these cookies on their list during Eid al-Fitr.

2. Putri Salju or Snow White

The Putri Salju or Snow White cookies has a soft tender and sweet taste which will melt in your mouth. It usually will be sprinkled with thick white ice sugar on top of it, that's why this cake called as snow white.

These cookies have become the second-best cookies you could find in every house in the country during Eid al-Fitr.

3. Kastengel

Kastengel or cheesy top cookies is another festive cookies which will usually serve during Eid al-Fitr.  Not only top, the ingredients also included cheese. As it’s made of cheese these cookies will have savoury taste and a bit salty.

4. The Peanut Cookies or Kue Kacang

Kue Kacang is dominated by ground peanut at the making. As it’s made mostly from peanut the tasty will be peanuty and savory. The texture will be crunchy and you will find tons of ground peanut on every bite.

5. Chocolate cookies
