TIMES MALAYSIA, MALANG – Nestled in the highlands of Pujon, Malang Regency, Taman Kemesraan has quickly become one of East Java’s favorite destinations since its opening in 2020. Just half an hour from Malang city center, the park offers a refreshing escape with pine forests, rivers, waterfalls, and cool mountain air.

Families, couples, and young travelers are drawn here not only to enjoy the scenery but also to find a sense of tranquility away from the busy city life. The combination of fresh atmosphere and natural beauty has made it one of the region’s most memorable getaways.

Mythology Blended with Leisure

Unlike many natural attractions, Taman Kemesraan carries a cultural soul rooted in Javanese tradition. At its center stands the monumental statue of Kamajaya and Kamaratih, symbols of eternal love, surrounded by sculptures of Ganesha, lingga-yoni, and wayang figures.

These cultural touches transform the park into more than a landscape—it becomes a living story where myth and spirituality are embedded in nature. Visitors can enjoy this depth of meaning while also engaging in leisure activities.

Ticket prices range from IDR 25,000 to 30,000, including a welcome drink, and an extra IDR 15,000 offers a boat ride on the lake. For the adventurous, rafting, ATV rides, outbound challenges, and camping facilities provide excitement beyond sightseeing.

"This place has so much fun you coud enjoy with your family or loved ones," Andika, a lcal visitor said (24/8/2025).

Comfort, Accessibility, and Lasting Impressions

The park is designed to be both beautiful and comfortable, with facilities such as toilets, prayer rooms, cafés, and a swimming pool. Its management, in collaboration with Perhutani, ensures that conservation goes hand in hand with tourism, preserving the pristine environment while supporting visitor needs.

Many international visitors even describe it as a fairy-tale park, where cultural romance meets natural beauty. More than just a place to relax, Taman Kemesraan is a cultural showcase and a reminder that true harmony emerges when tradition and nature embrace one another. (*)
