TIMES MALAYSIA, JAKARTAHello Green Nusantara is set to transform Bengkulu into a beacon of sustainability and innovation with the launch of its ambitious green development program. During the groundbreaking ceremony, key stakeholders from government and business sectors will convene to celebrate the province's leap toward a sustainable future.  

This program underscores Hello Green Nusantara's mission to foster eco-friendly growth while balancing economic, technological, and administrative priorities. The initiative is designed with a collaborative spirit, incorporating input from local communities, government agencies, and regional leaders to ensure maximum impact.  

The Bengkulu province has been chosen as the pilot location for this comprehensive program. In its initial phase, the project will establish a state-of-the-art waste disposal facility to address environmental challenges, create a modern industrial park to boost economic activity, and enhance regional tourism by leveraging Bengkulu’s cultural and natural assets.

Future initiatives include improved dock infrastructure, enhanced health insurance systems, and other community-focused developments aimed at long-term regional growth.  

One of the key projects under this program is the Waste Management Bengkulu initiative. This project which will implement cutting-edge waste disposal technologies to minimize environmental impact and improve public health.

Another significant undertaking is the Hotel Fort Marlborough Bengkulu, which combines heritage preservation with sustainable hospitality to attract environmentally conscious tourists. Additionally, the creation of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Pulau Baai aims to stimulate economic activity while maintaining a commitment to eco-conscious practices.  

Innovative green technology will also take center stage through the Hydrogen-Driven Bus Manufacturing Project, a step toward cleaner energy solutions in public transportation. Finally, the Development Program for Bengkulu Province will encompass various infrastructure upgrades and social programs, ensuring comprehensive and inclusive progress for the region.  

The Governor of Bengkulu will deliver the keynote address, emphasizing the province's commitment to sustainable growth. His speech will highlight the government’s dedication to balancing economic progress with environmental preservation, showcasing Bengkulu as a leader in green innovation and responsible development.  

The groundbreaking ceremony signifies more than the start of construction—it is a call to action for all stakeholders to unite in building a greener Indonesia. Hello Green Nusantara envisions Bengkulu as a model for sustainable development, demonstrating how innovation and environmental stewardship can coexist to foster long-term progress.

This initiative highlights the potential for Indonesia’s growing regions to become global leaders in sustainability. By investing in green technologies and collaborative partnerships, Hello Green Nusantara is paving the way for a cleaner, more resilient future. (*)
